- What makes JDEtips University different from other JD Edwards training programs? No other JDE services firm focuses as much as we do on training. Our passion is knowledge transfer through JD Edwards training. We are the only firm out there with training manuals that cover all the functionality of JD Edwards. Our instructors average 15 years of JD Edwards implementation experience, so our students benefit from real-world examples at every class. We can handle your questions because we've been there--repeatedly, at many of our clients.
- Can I get an idea of the specific topics covered by each class? Yes, you can click
here to see the Table of Contents from each of our manuals. Plus you can click any of the class links at the bottom of this page to read the class description.
- Can I see a sample chapter from your training manuals? Yes, send your request to Andy.Klee@ERPtips.com. Soon, we'll have sample chapters from each manual posted to our website.
- What can I expect from a JDEtips University class? You'll learn how to configure JDE to best handle your business processes. We cover end-to-end business processes, required and optional setup, transaction flows, and the technical knowledge you need to be successful on the job. Our classes feature frequent hands-on exercises that are fully documented with step by step screen shots, and text that clarifies what (and why) we are going through each step. You'll learn the basics, the advanced tips, and the gotchas to avoid.
- What will I leave the class with? Attendees at our basic classes will leave with the knowledge they need to work with JD Edwards in their daily jobs. They will have the foundation needed to advance their knowledge on the job or by attending module specific classes later. Attendees at our module specific classes will gain advanced configuration knowledge which can put to use as soon as you return to your workplace. The manual you received in class, written by a JDE expert based on their in depth experience working with the system, will serve as a handy reference to help you sustain that knowledge. Oh, and everyone also get a framed certificate!
- Who should attend JDEtips University? Our basic classes are designed for beginning business users, business analysts, and developers who need to jump-start their JDE knowledge. Basic classes cover entire suites such as Financials, Distribution, and Technical (ERW & Development).
