Objectives: This class offers everything you need to know to produce professional looking customer-facing documents from the output of a report (UBE) within EnterpriseOne.
You will learn how to use the integrated BI Publisher that ships with EnterpriseOne to produce XML output that is then loaded into a Microsoft Word Add-in. You will receive instructions on how to use the template design tool that includes working with Pivot Tables, Charts, Repeating Groups, Conditional Formats and Regions. You will be provided in depth methodology and best practices for design. You will also gain an understanding of advanced functionality such as Bursting and Auto Emailing.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of the EnterpriseOne report writing tool is recommended.

This course is designed for power users to gain an in-depth understanding of ERW. You will learn the basics of working with OMW, how to create simple reports and an introduction to event rules. If you attend the optional days, you will learn the features of Financial Report Writer and advanced ERW features.
In this course you will expand your ERW knowledge by exploring topics such as Table Design, Business View Design, Table I/O, Processing Option Design, Batch Events, Business Functions Event Rules Debugger and an optional introduction to BI Publisher.
This course is a review of both Interactive and batch development. You will gain a clear understanding of the development cycle within JD Edwards, Batch development (RDA) for ERW, interactive development (FDA) for designing forms. Topics include Data Dictionary, OMW, naming conventions, Table Data and the Development Toolset.
