Basic JD Edwards Training for JDE Clients
JDEtips Basic JD Edwards training covers a variety of subjects within JDE's functional modules. You won't find a better introduction to Distribution, Manufacturing, Financials, Developer, or Common Foundation elsewhere.Our basic courses are designed for those who are experienced in their respective field but new to JD Edwards. Each JDE training course introduces the purpose and general functionality of the module, reviews the master data involved, points of integration, core transaction processing, and reports. These courses are ideal for key business users charged with ownership during a JD Edwards implementation. Graduates are fully prepared to understand how to run JD Edwards and participate in training other end users.
Sessions include basic instruction, advanced tips, live discussion, demonstration, and hands-on exercises. Because these courses are designed for new users, detailed configuration knowledge is not taught. In addition to our standard public training, our instructors can provide onsite training that is customized to meet the requirements of your individual project and organization.

- Basic Distribution - Gain a clear understanding of the Inventory Management, Procurement, and Sales Order Management modules in JD Edwards. Through hands-on exercises and instructor-led demos, you'll gain the basic knowledge you'll need to work more productively to meet your job and career goals.
- Basic Financials - Gain a clear understanding of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable modules in JD Edwards. Using hands-on practice exercises, we will walk you through the financial processes a typical company will use during an ordinary month and prepare you for real-world challenges in Financials.
- Basic Developer - Gain a clear understanding of the development cycle within JD Edwards, both Batch (RDA) - for Enterprise Report Writing and Interactive (FDA) - for designing forms. Understand and use Data Dictionary, Object Management Workbench, Naming Conventions, Table Data and the Development Toolset. Learn how to tie it all together to create those simple queries that you will need, or even custom interactive applications/modifications.
- Common Foundation - This one-day introduction course to EnterpriseOne teaches you all the basics of navigation, running reports (UBEs), and Address Book. We cover all the basics, including menus, User Defined Codes (UDCs), and how to customize forms (screens).
