In this article, he shows us, step by step, how to generate an Outbound PO - EDI 850 that can be sent via EDI to a supplier. The benefits alone, such as faster turnaround in receipts, which can result in lower on-hand inventory requirements, make the setup effort worthwhile.

As more and more companies venture into interfacing with customers, understanding EDI transactions becomes more crucial, which makes it hard to understand why this functionality in JD Edwards remains such a mystery to some. He'll take you step-by-step through the setup of these transactions, so that you too can have incoming sales orders with the corresponding outgoing invoices up and running!
